We both work for a resort hotel and convention center.  We have often said we can predict the generation of a group, based on the names on the rooming list.  Names like Brittany, Kaitlyn, Connor and Hunter suggest a younger age group.  Names like Ethel, Horace and Wilbur suggest an older group.

Likewise, we find it interesting the period names we encounter on gravestones dating back a century or more.  The following list is by no means exhaustive - merely names that caught our attention.
